Oh how I love little Kellyn :-)

My little K-Bell loves to disappear from time to time and when I find her, she is usually in my room playing with her diapers and wipes. I found her changing a tape measures diaper!?!? My child has quite the imagination!

We no longer get to watch t.v. in peace...Wait, have we ever? hehe..Kellyn always wants Mickey and Minnie to have the best seats in the house.. which is on the ottoman right in front of us!

Potato soup night. Kellyn had already eaten a bowl but when she saw Daddy and I sitting at the bar she wanted to sit with us and requested yet another bowl of soup. Little turkey also claimed what was left of my sprite!

"Dat's my sprite mommy" I heard that everytime she took a swig.

I couldn't stop laughing when she would take a bite...poor girl could barely reach. She REFUSED my help so Daddy took these pics for me while I held my hand under the bar to catch the mess.

I just love this outfit so I wanted a few cute pics of my Kellyn in it. Well little crazy here wouldn't cooperate so here is one picture that did not turn out.

and another. Can't you just stand still and smile? It's not like I take a ton of pics of you or anything? There is NO way you can be sick of the camera! haha!

Last attempt for now. I gave up. I left the room for 3 minutes to run into the living room to solve the final puzzle on Wheel.

NEVER leave your child unattended!! Not even to solve the final puzzle! This is what happens when you leave the room!!!!!! I wanted to scream at her but I knew I would startle her and make her fall off. I actually started laughing and had to hide my face while firmly saying NO NO NO!

And the last of this post. I went to Hobby Lobby and Jen talked me into getting a scare crow for my hallway decorations. I was sure Kellyn would be scared of "Sally". Nope..this is Kellyn's bff. She walked right up to her and told her that her shoes were so pretty. She also made this comment to Sally .."Oh my goodness, you have the hiccups". haha. I don't have to have a second child! Sally is perfect!

Room for Change...Kellyn's big girl bed and new playroom

I decided to post some pics of Kellyn's bedroom and new playroom. Kellyn is now in a big girl bed!! She has done so well! While Al was putting it together she ran up to the headboard and hugged it saying "I love my bed". Too cute! Anyway...here is a pic as you enter her room. I can not bring myself to remove the rocker. We still read together every night and rock. It's our special time!

Kellyn's big girl bed. Kellyn hates getting into the sheets or using the duvet, so you can't really see how cute it is. I keep it folded at the end of her bed for now. Tommy the turtle and Georgie the frog sleep with her every night.

Kellyn's closet door. haha... Actually, Amy this picture is for you so you can see where we put the growth chart. Kellyn loves it! She grew an inch from June 22-Aug 23. WOW!

Kellyn's book shelf

Standing in front of the closet door.

Can you guess what this is??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Don't get excited...it's just Kellyn's old playroom. I couldn't bring myself to take down the crib yet so Al moved it into the empty room so I could stare at it. haha!

Kellyn's new playroom. The dining room has been a playroom for a little over a month now, however, it is finally done. Here is the view from the kitchen.

I absolutely love the play table. It grows with Kellyn. It has different length legs to change as she grows. It also has a roll of paper that you pull over the top to color or draw on. There are storage bins underneath that are perfect for toys or blocks. As you have seen in my previous blog, Kellyn loves to sit in the bins!

I don't think Kellyn has enough toys! haha

The purple square on the wall is a chalkboard. I ordered several 9x12 peel and stick pieces to create one big chalkboard. Kellyn hasn't mastered staying on the chalkboard. She likes to take her chalk and color her dolls, pillows, play food..etc.

I also bought some flower and animal vinyl wall decals. Kellyn loves them and they add a little color and fun to the room.

My little angel!

I had the idea that if I bought Kellyn her own shoes she would quit getting into mine. Although she still tears into my shoes she does have fun in her high heels.

My play shoes were never this bright and fun!

It is WAY more fun to watch t.v. in a storage bin!

Daddy and Kellyn drawing. Kellyn loves to supervise every drawing. She even picks out what colors you are allowed to use. Allowed I say...you can NOT just take whatever color you prefer.

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kellyn enjoying a snack while Fifi patiently awaits a morsel.

Ahhh yet another Birthday Cake. Kellyn has become obsessed with birthday cake. I picked up a tiny cake at Wal-Mart so we could sing Happy Birthday for the zillionth time to her.

Kinley and Cason were good sports. They modeled a few pairs of Kellyn's high heels.

My little turkey relaxing after a fun night with Kinley and Cason.

Kellyn wanted to take a shower by herself. She has never taken a shower in her life. I couldn't get her out!!!!! I think I finally bribed her! Here she is with her super big ..I'm so proud of myself smile!

God Our Father......

Kellyn is such a song bird these days! I got her to sing on the way home from school and was able to record it over my shoulder. I just love her toddler voice!

2 Year check up

Here's my 2 year old sitting proudly :-) We went for Kellyn's 2 yr check up on Monday, Aug 24. Kellyn is doing super! She had to get her finger pricked and didn't even flinch. Even I flinch! I was super impressed! Kellyn weighs 26.8 lbs and is 34.5 inches tall.

I really can't believe she is 2! Time flys so fast. I try my hardest to not miss anything with Kellyn. Al and I both spend as much time with her as possible. We treasure every moment we have with her and thank God for such a wonderful angel! She is now in the "Explorer" class at school. This is her fourth class since she started Nov of 07. She is learning so many songs, how to count, her ABC's and talks non-stop. She is also learning to be super bossy..oh my! Just yesterday I was on my way up the stairs to get her after her nap and I heard her telling Tommy the turtle to sit down and not to move! When I opened the door she was standing in her crib pointing to Tommy saying no no. I asked her if Tommy was in trouble and she said he was being bad. I can't believe how young they start to be little mommys!

We have a "big girl" bed ordered and quite frankly I just don't know if I can take down the crib! Luckily Kellyn has never attempted to escape the crib. I walk into her room and I just can't bring myself to imagine it without her crib, changing table and rocking chair. You know, I just may keep her in her crib forever..hehe. Well once the bed is up, I will post pictures. That is..if I put it up :-)

Happy Birthday Kellyn Cooper! You're 2!!!

Surprise angel! Look to your right and see what you got from Mommy and Daddy for you birthday!

YA!!! A kitchen!!!

Kellyn Cooper was super happy that she got a new kitchen. She went right to cooking.

You need plenty of food for your kitchen!

Mammaw and Grandaddy brought her some quarters for her piggy bank. She LOVES to put money into her piggy.

She also got this little rocking chair. She can now rock her babies to sleep.

One of Kellyn's favorite movies is Madagascar. Papa and Dede got Kellyn a card with all the characters on front and when opened it sings.."I like to move it, move it" Kellyn loves this card and plays with it daily.

Kellyn had such a blast on her birthday. She loved all the presents and had such a great time with both sets of grandparents and her brother and sissy. It was the perfect birthday!

I can't get down the stairs fast enough to see my gift from Papa and Dede!!!!

Hey Mom! Check out my new "bicycle". Papa is taking me for a ride..see you later!

Oh how I love this!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kellyn Cooper your Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know!!!

Happy Birthday Party Kellyn!!!

Kellyn was super excited about her party being at the park! She loves Mickey and Minnie so we chose them for her decorations. She wanted ballons so we made sure we had plenty. The weather was so beautiful! I was so worried that it was going to be super hot but it was cool and breezy.
Kellyn and her sweet friends, Kinley and Ryan.

Kellyn and her a few of her buddies. Cason, Ryan, Alex and Kinley

Happy Birthday my sweet Kellyn...you're 2! Where did the time go?

Kellyn telling Braelyn she should eat a cupcake.

A few things I learned from this party: It's hard for children to eat giant cupcakes. The dark icing stains your face. My daughter only likes the icing! But the pictures are priceless!

Kellyn and her school buddies. This is priceless!!!! from left to right: Braelyn, Aubrie, Brianna and Kellyn.

Her sweet brother brought her a doodle pro. She absolutely loves this gift and adores her big brother!

Kellyn Cooper thanking everyone for all the gifts and for coming. Thanks to everyone that made her day super special.
Below are a few pictures of some friends and family that attended her party.

Aunt Tina and Aunt Sara. They bought Kellyn super cool "Twinkle Toes" by sketchers and a feather boa for my little drama queen.

Daddy and sweet Brian

Sissy and her super sweet boyfriend Michael. Don't run him off Ariane...we love him :-)

This is why you never take pictures of yourself to surprise the owner of the camera later. Oh Jenny...I bet you never thought I would post this. hahaha...I can't stop laughing!!!

This is Aunt Jenny's little mini-me, Maddie. She was in her first pageant that morning and won 1st Alternate and most beautiful dress. She deserved 1st place in my opinion!

Little pooter Cal and his cousin Cooper came to help celebrate with Kellyn

Papa and Dede came all the way from Illinois. After every gift Kellyn opened she had to take it to Papa for him to see. It was hilarious!

Mammaw and Grandaddy came to celebrate with us too!

If you couldn't tell...this is Jenny's sister Nicki and her precious baby Mia. Seeing this angel gave me baby fever!

Uncle Scott decided to sneak into a picture.
