2 Year check up

Here's my 2 year old sitting proudly :-) We went for Kellyn's 2 yr check up on Monday, Aug 24. Kellyn is doing super! She had to get her finger pricked and didn't even flinch. Even I flinch! I was super impressed! Kellyn weighs 26.8 lbs and is 34.5 inches tall.

I really can't believe she is 2! Time flys so fast. I try my hardest to not miss anything with Kellyn. Al and I both spend as much time with her as possible. We treasure every moment we have with her and thank God for such a wonderful angel! She is now in the "Explorer" class at school. This is her fourth class since she started Nov of 07. She is learning so many songs, how to count, her ABC's and talks non-stop. She is also learning to be super bossy..oh my! Just yesterday I was on my way up the stairs to get her after her nap and I heard her telling Tommy the turtle to sit down and not to move! When I opened the door she was standing in her crib pointing to Tommy saying no no. I asked her if Tommy was in trouble and she said he was being bad. I can't believe how young they start to be little mommys!

We have a "big girl" bed ordered and quite frankly I just don't know if I can take down the crib! Luckily Kellyn has never attempted to escape the crib. I walk into her room and I just can't bring myself to imagine it without her crib, changing table and rocking chair. You know, I just may keep her in her crib forever..hehe. Well once the bed is up, I will post pictures. That is..if I put it up :-)
