Beach Trip

We had SO much fun at the beach April 17th weekend. Kellyn was only 7 months old when we last visited the beach. That trip it was just too cold to enjoy the sand. So this trip Kellyn got to enjoy it and boy did she ever! It was truly wonderful watching her enjoy the sand in her toes and the waves crashing into her legs. She even loved the birds flying over us! Al told her to catch one of the birds which was a huge mistake! She took off and we finally realized she wasn't coming back so we had to run out after her to catch her!!

We stayed at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. That is one of my very favorite places to stay. The food and shops are so fun and convenient! I wish we were there now! We visited the toy shop and out of every thing in the store she had to have 2 plush horses. I guess having around 100 horses just isn't enough so she had to have a few more! Here's a shot of her chilln' with her new friends.
Check out Max and the GIANT whelp on her forehead! We have no idea how this happened or what happened but it happened. We thought it was an allergic reaction to something, but we have no idea. We also thought she might have been biten by something. We have no idea! She never complained. She still has a dry patch and a little bump left on her forehead. So weird!

We got to Sandestin Thursday night and finally made it to the beach on Saturday. Kellyn is putting her feet in the water for the first time.

She was just SO happy!! Al and I had permanent smiles on our faces the entire day just from watching Kbell enjoy herself!

A little chilly but not too bad!

Look at her little shadow. I just love this picture! It's so cute of her little short self!

Time to play in the sand. My word was it everywhere!

At times she felt it was necessary to move sand away from our area. She would load up her shovel..........

And deposit it elsewhere!

She even enjoyed swimming in the sand. And of course she ate quite a bit too!

She especially loved being buried in the sand. She just laughed and laughed. When I dug her out she got mad so I had to do it again!
