Magic Kingdom- Jan 15

Ariane's cheerleading squad competed in Orlando on Jan 16. The day before we decided to take Kellyn to the Magic Kingdom. She was such a little trooper! We got there at 9:00a.m. when they opened and left at 8:30p.m. when it closed. She had the most exciting day and her smile and laugh were so contagious it made Al and I feel like kids again!

Our first stop...Daisy's autograph. She was so excited to hug the characters and talk to them, however, when they didn't talk back it totally confused her!

Our first ride....the dreaded spinning teacups. Oh I hate these! I told Al I would kill him if he spun it around and of course Kellyn started to do it!

Our absolute very favorite part of Magic Kingdom and Kellyn's! We got to walk through Mickey's house, Minnie's house, play at Pooh's playground, ride Goofy's rollercoaster...The Barnstormer and we got a few autographs from, Mickey, Tigger, Pooh, and Eeyore.

I hate rollercoasters! I have avoided riding them for years...after 8th grade and being terrified at Great America, I swore I would never ride them again. Then came Kellyn. My fearless 2 year old daughter. She saw and heard everyone screaming on Goofy's Barnstormer and wanted to ride it. I was SOOO sure she would NEVER meet the height requirement but I was wrong. 35" and she is 35.5" tall...UGH! So here is a pic of my crazy girl so super excited to ride this thing! I am putting my arms around her and under her thigh because I was scared to death she would slide out! I was shaking like a crazy person and my daughter was yelling...go faster...go faster before it even started. We survived and ended up riding it 7 times that day!

We got to see Mickey and get his autograph but never saw Minnie. Kellyn was happy to see Mickey!

OOOh popcorn in the microwave! Pure kid heaven Minnie's house was...oh my I couldn't get Kellyn to leave!

Kellyn spotted Goofy and Donald towards the end of the night and had to meet them. Once again the no talking threw her off! If you notice in most of the character pictures she is holding her hands or folding her arms. That's her "I am not sure that I'm comfortable" pose.
